Coach Megan

Coach Megan brings warmth, professionalism, and a deep love of skating to the Delburne Skating Club. With 10 years of coaching experience, she is an NCCP-certified Skate Canada coach specializing in CanSkate, PreStarSkate, STARSkate, and PowerSkate. Megan is dedicated to helping skaters build strong fundamentals while nurturing confidence, joy, and a lifelong love of the sport.

Growing up skating in Delburne, returning to coach in the community that shaped her has been especially meaningful. Since beginning her coaching journey in 2016, Megan has worked with multiple clubs across central Alberta, bringing well-rounded expertise and a positive, athlete-centered approach to every session.

Her coaching style blends patience, encouragement, and clear technical instruction, creating an environment where skaters feel supported, motivated, and excited to grow. She takes pride in celebrating every milestone—big or small—and her genuine care and commitment make her an invaluable part of the Delburne Skating Club community.

When she’s not on the ice, Megan can be found out on the farm, playing softball, or cheering on a hockey game. She’s passionate about helping skaters develop their skills, confidence, and love for skating—just as she did.
